Here
are a few sites to help get your creativity flowing;
Tempus’ Real Landsknecht Homepage
http://www.theweebsite.com/landsknecht/
A
good first stop for all things Landsknecht, of particular note are the woodcuts
and paintings.
Landsknecht.com
As
above, good links and gallery pages.
St Maximilian Re-enactment Guild
A
wealth of information, have a look in particular at the photographs via the
‘campaign’ tab.
The Renaissance Wargames Society
http://www.renaissancewargamesociety.com/index.shtm
An excellent starting point and introduction to wargaming the period.
Wargames Foundry
In
my opinion the best Landsknechts
currently available, sculpted by the Perry twins, well worth the extra cash. Also their paints and
brushes mentioned in the guide above.
Artizan Designs
Artizan have recently released a range of Landsknechts, a bit chunkier than WF but worth a look.
Old Glory Miniatures
An
extensive range for the Italian wars covering most armies of the period, good
for filling in the gaps that other manufacturers don’t do.
The Assault Group Miniatures
Currently
embarking on an Italian Wars Range, with Spanish available and a lot more in the
pipeline.
Stuart’s workbench
www.stuartsworkbench.blogspot.com
This
is my blog for all things renaissance and miniature.
The Miniatures Page
A
web magazine for miniatures. An excellent resource to gather information, ideas
and amusement, particularly the message boards.
